Hatha Yoga
A practice for body and energy: pain, tension, blocked energy, hormonal imbalances, or states that show up physically.
What it is
I started with yoga because I had back pain and ovarian issues and didn’t know what else to do. It worked, and since then it’s stayed part of my life, not only of my work.
Hatha Yoga, as I work with it, is a practice in which we work with the body, the breath, and attention. It includes asanas, pranayama, concentration, and meditation, and its role is to bring the mind back into the body and into the present moment.
I work with people who have real issues in the body: pain, tension, blocked energy, hormonal imbalances, or states that show up physically.
What a session looks like
We start by setting the intention and understanding what’s happening in your body. We talk about where it hurts, where you feel tension, what you’ve tried so far, and what worked or didn’t.
From the first session we’re actually working: we do an evaluation, build a first personalized home program, and start working with what your body needs in that moment.
In sessions with me we work more deeply — through breath, postures/asanas that suit you, and corrections where needed. We close with meditation or other relaxation techniques, depending on what your body responds to best and what the moment calls for.
The session is gentle and respects your rhythm. You don’t have to be flexible and you don’t need experience. You just need to be willing to listen to what the body is saying.
Format and duration
- At the studio: in Cluj-Napoca, as part of the group classes; schedule and rate depend on the studio.
- In-person, individual: in Cluj-Napoca, in a safe and dedicated space, where we work in a personalized way according to your body’s needs.
- Online: via video call, if you have a space suited for practice.
- In nature: in Cluj-Napoca, with the ground under your feet and more space for breath and regulation.
- 60–75 minutes per session
Rate
The first session is 80 RON. Subsequent sessions are 50 RON.
For group classes at the studio, the rate depends on the space and the class format, so the schedule and up-to-date details are on my Instagram page or on the studios’ pages.
What the first session includes
- An initial evaluation of your needs and how they show up in the body.
- Setting the intention and building a first personalized program you can continue at home.
- Actual work from the first session, through breath, postures, and corrections suited to your body.
- At the end, you leave with a clear starting point: what to notice, what to work with, and how to continue between sessions.
For an evaluation
Message me on WhatsApp and tell me briefly what you feel in the body, where it hurts, and what you’ve already tried. From there we look together at what kind of practice fits you and how we begin.
